Art and Animation, 2D and 3D

Get ready to bring your own ideas to life in this dynamic and exciting workshop that introduces you to the world of both 2D and 3D animation! This workshop is designed for those who are passionate about animation and want to learn the fundamentals of 2D animation and modern 3D animation techniques.

The workshop will teach you how 2D animation is created using traditional techniques, including drawing frame by frame by starting with simple practical exercises and eventually making your own short 2D animation. Industry-standard software such as 3DS Max will help develop skills for 2D traditional animation and 3D computer generated animation. To learn basic 3D modeling, you will model your characters, backgrounds, and props before animating your models and rendering them to create a finished short film.

By the end of the workshop, you will be able to create your own 2D and 3D animations and take your animation skills to the next level. This workshop is a perfect opportunity for you to unleash your creativity and bring your animation dreams to reality.

Students will learn:
